180 Degrees is pleased to announce that David Jeffries has joined the organization as Director of Client and Partner Experience. Jeffries has over 12 years of outreach, program management, and leadership in programs for unsheltered adults and youth in the Twin Cities. He has previously worked at St. Stephens Human Services, Beacon Interfaith Housing and most recently served as Director at Avivo Village & Street Outreach, an innovative program which provided 100 tiny homes inside a warehouse in downtown Minneapolis.

In his new role, Jeffries will require the skills of a strategist, relationship builder and solution provider. The primary purpose of his position is to ensure that 180 Degrees staff foster trusting relationships with clients at all programs, by welcoming new clients, navigating referral obstacles, and finding ways to say “yes” to accept youth often denied service due to prior challenges and barriers. Jeffries will also develop positive working relationships with referral partners. All of these activities will ensure that 180 Degrees is reaching our outreach goals and fulfilling all contract and grant obligations.

Executive Director Dan Pfarr says, “David Jeffries will be a great asset to 180 Degrees. David knows the barriers and experiences that our clients face each day and he will be skilled at finding innovative ways to reach them and make sure that they find an easy route to our door.”

In addition to his work with clients and staff, Jeffries will be a member of 180 Degrees Leadership Team where he will take an active role in decision-making and the strategic direction of the organization.

180 Degrees is a Twin Cities-based nonprofit providing strengths-based, client-centric supportive services helping 1,400 people annually move from crisis to stability and resilience. By building on 50+ years of racial equity advocacy, 180 Degrees helps children and adults break the destructive cycle of trauma created by poverty, racism, homelessness, and sexual exploitation.
