Emergency Youth Shelters
&
transitional housing 

180 Degrees' Emergency Youth Shelters and Transitional Housing programs provide safe spaces for youth and young adults experiencing crisis, homelessness and exploitation including sex trafficking.

We serve youth and young adults who are:
  • All genders, ages 12-24 years old
  • Impacted by family conflict and/or drug abuse
  • At-risk of or experiencing youth homelessness
  • At-risk of or experiencing sex trafficking or exploitation
  • Experiencing mental and/or behavior health challenges personally or in their family
  • Having social difficulties at school

Our programming is based in: 
  • Trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive care 
  • Strength-based coaching
  • Structured living environments with intensive support
Our services empower youth with:
  • Individualized case management
  • Community resource and service connections
  • Community-based mental health (personal and family)
  • Independent living skills coaching
  • Vocational exploration
  • Crisis and anger management (de-escalation)
  • Educational support with on-site classroom
  • Home visiting and family engagement
  • Pro-social events with peers
