adopt a room: bedding & textiles
Hundreds of teens pass through our youth shelters every year. We try our best to make bedrooms welcoming and cozy for youth who experience trauma. It's not uncommon for youth to leave our shelter with blankets and sheets from their rooms -- because they lack these things at home. So, replacement of linens and room refreshes are an ongoing need -- especially in St. Cloud and Rochester.

gifts cards & cash
We welcome your cash donations and gift cards in any denomination for youth, adults, and families living in our shelters or enrolled in our poverty-fighting case management programs.
Our programs seek to empower clients to make their own choices. So, providing a gift card – of any size – supports that. Many clients lack transportation, so gift cards to easily accessible places work best.
Gift cards are also used as incentives throughout the year to provide motivation to achieve goals and small rewards when goals are accomplished.
We suggest:
VISA, Walmart, Target, Cub Foods, Sam’s Club, Costco, Subway, Jimmy John’s, Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Dominos, McDonald’s, Burger King

not accepting donations of clothing at this time
Volunteers recently cleaned out and organized a large amount of in-kind donations, so we’re in the process of rebalancing our inventory to best pair those donations with client needs. Please check back later in the year for more information. Thank you!
