180 Degrees Emergency Youth Shelter located in Rochester township is possible only because of generous community support. When you make a gift, you ensure that youth across southeast Minnesota have access to safe shelter, meals, and supportive services. Services address crisis, build stability, and empower youth and their families to build positive pathways forward.

Youth ages 12-19 from Rochester and southeast Minnesota  communities turn to 180 Degrees Youth Shelter when in crisis.

When experiencing homelessness, in transition between foster families, or simply out of options without a safe place to stay due to family crisis, we're here to help.

Shelter and services are free and available by walk-in or through referral. We accept referrals from parents, schools, social workers, youth-serving agencies, and probation officers.

Supportive staff  help youth identify strengths, explore  resources, set goals, and build new connections so that they can realize their full potential.

A NEW VISION

Join our growing donor community to realize a bold vision for Rochester and southeast Minnesota youth and their families. Our aging facility no longer meets the needs of youth, their families, the community, and staff.

Our Building Brighter Futures capital campaign will result in a brand new building on our existing site.  Features will include single bedrooms, light-filled shared spaces including a commercial kitchen, living room, and gathering spaces that support daily programming, family and service provider visits, and recreation.
