180 Degrees' SAFE program provides free, confidential  services to African American women and their children experiencing domestic violence.    
Led by a 100% African American team, SAFE Case Managers work directly in in the community helping women gain confidence, strength, and independence. 

Ongoing support is provided by text, phone, video, and face-to-face meetings -- driven by client's needs and preferences.

Services include:
  • ongoing emotional support
  • assistance obtaining orders of protection to prevent further abuse
  • crisis resources including food, transportation, and child care
  • connections to emergency shelter and housing 
  • liaison with schools and youth agencies to support children in crisis
  • connections to mental and chemical health 
  • financial literacy programs
  • legal aid​ ​
