180 Degrees' SAFE program provides free, confidential  services to African American women and their children experiencing domestic violence.    
Led by a 100% African American team, SAFE case managers work directly in in the community helping women gain confidence, strength and independence. 

Ongoing support is provided by text, phone, video and face-to-face meetings -- driven by client's needs and preferences.

Services include:
  • Ongoing emotional support
  • Assistance obtaining orders of protection to prevent further abuse
  • Crisis resources including food, transportation and child care
  • Connections to emergency shelter and housing 
  • Liaison with schools and youth agencies to support children in crisis
  • Connections to mental and chemical health 
  • Financial literacy programs
  • Legal aid​ ​
